  • Payment information (processed securely by Stripe; we do not store card numbers)

  • Investment analysis inputs you enter while using the platform
  • Requests you make through connected AI assistants (for example, the searches, addresses, or properties you ask about), logged so we can operate, secure, and improve the connector

Information collected automatically:

  • Device and browser information (browser type, operating system, screen resolution)

  • Pages visited, time spent on pages, and navigation paths
  • Referring URL and search terms that brought you to our site

6. AI Assistant Connectors

AuctionScout offers an optional connector that lets third-party AI assistants — such as Anthropic's Claude and OpenAI's ChatGPT — access your AuctionScout data on your behalf, but only after you explicitly authorize it through a secure sign-in (OAuth 2.0) flow. Connecting is entirely optional and is never enabled by default.

When you connect an AI assistant, it can, at your request:

  • Read your auction data, saved searches, wishlist, reminders, and property/investment analysis
  • Write — create reminders, save searches, and update your wishlist

Data is shared only for requests you initiate, and only with the AI platform you authorized. We never share your AuctionScout password with these platforms. Once your data reaches a connected assistant, the platform's own privacy policy governs how it is handled (see Anthropic and OpenAI). You can revoke a connection at any time from your AuctionScout account settings or from within the AI assistant, and you may contact us to request deletion of any data associated with a connection.

To operate and improve the connector, we keep a log of the requests you make through it — including which tool was used, when, and the request details (such as your search terms or the property you asked about). We use this to provide the feature, troubleshoot problems, prevent abuse, and understand which capabilities are useful. We do not sell this information or use the content of your requests for third-party advertising. You can ask us to delete the activity associated with a connection at any time.

7. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. Analytics data is retained according to each platform's default retention settings. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.

Connector activity logs — including the requests you make through connected AI assistants — are retained while your account is active and as needed to operate and improve the service. They are deleted when you delete your account, and you may request deletion at any time.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

  • Access, correct, or delete your personal data
  • Opt out of targeted advertising
  • Withdraw consent for data processing
  • Request a copy of your data in a portable format

We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), secure authentication via Azure AD B2C, and PCI-compliant payment processing through Stripe. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
